Kregg Fordyce

Kregg Fordyce is an architect, urban planner and the founder of studioDEEP+, a multidisciplinary practice based in Toronto.

Kregg previously founded KFA in 2006 and has grown the company into a firm of 20 people providing clients with urban planning, architectural and interior design services.

Kregg is proud that the firm has developed into a workplace with strong diversity amongst staff in both culture and skills, giving KFA a work environment that truly reflects the City of Toronto. Kregg specializes in mid to high-rise Commercial-Residential Development, Hotel Development, and Emergency Services Facilities.

Kregg’s training as both an Architect and an Urban and Regional Planner provide our clients with a unique and valuable asset to the overall planning, design and development of their projects.

In addition to his professional career Kregg is a passionate advocate of new
technologies in the building industry, specifically blockchain technology.

Kregg speaks regularly across Canada about Blockchain in the Building Industry, researching and exploring the potential for this disruptive technology change our industry for the better.

Diego Canneri

Principal, Vice President

Diego Canneri is a principal at deep+ with extensive international experience in architecture and design management. After graduating in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1989, he worked in Italy and the United States before earning a Master of Professional Studies in Design Management from Pratt Institute in New York in 1996.

Since moving to Canada, Diego has managed projects of varying scale and complexity, from residential condominiums and townhomes to public space renovations and community facilities. His work spans the entire process, from concept to construction, combining design vision with practical delivery.

Bernadette Gregor

Bernadette Gregor is an associate architect at deep+, with more than twenty years of experience in architectural and interior design. Since joining the studio in 2012, she has led projects ranging from multi-unit residential and commercial developments to community hubs, fire halls, and EMS stations.

Her expertise spans the full spectrum of design, from early concepts to detailed drawings and contract administration. She is skilled in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and has applied her knowledge of AODA standards to create inclusive and accessible spaces for diverse communities.

Bernadette is known for her attention to construction detail and her ability to combine quality design with practical solutions. She works closely with clients to deliver projects that are functional, cost-effective, and meaningful, creating environments that foster connection and community.

Briana Bokor (Bibi)

Briana Bokor is a junior planner at deep+, where she supports the team with research, policy analysis, and planning applications. With a background in geography and urban design, she works on reports, diagrams, and planning materials, contributing to projects at different scales while continuing to expand her expertise.

She enjoys being part of new projects and values the opportunity to learn something different from each one. Outside of work, Briana loves spending time outdoors, tackling DIY projects, staying active, and looking after her cat, Yubi.

Isha Dinesh Sharma

Isha Dinesh Sharma is an architectural technologist at Deep+, where she works on architectural drawing sets, regenerative design, computational sustainability, and data-informed planning. With project experience across Canada, Mexico, India, Africa, and Fiji, she brings a systems-thinking perspective to architecture, urban resilience, and equitable infrastructure.

Her background includes life cycle assessment research, sustainable housing prototypes, and publications on material health and carbon reduction. She has co-authored guides on low-carbon building materials and contributed to housing and community redevelopment projects. At Deep+, Isha is developing the Ecology stream of practice, advancing research and design strategies that integrate biomaterials, low-embodied carbon targets, and regenerative design approaches.

A Lester B. Pearson Scholar and Laidlaw Research Fellow, Isha is also an active member of the Toronto BioBuild Collective, where she continues to explore innovative uses of biomaterials in the built environment.

Kosta Derbish is an urban planner and designer at deep+, with experience in both the private and non-profit sectors. His work focuses on community planning, urban design, and project management, often within interdisciplinary teams.

He places strong emphasis on the relationship between people and their environments, believing that community development should always start from how spaces shape human interaction and well-being. This perspective informs his approach to planning and design, helping to create communities that are both functional and meaningful.

Laura De Faria

Architectural Technologist | Project Manager

Laura de Faria is a project manager at deep+, where she leads projects from early design through to completion with a focus on functionality, design quality, and client collaboration. With more than nine years of international experience in architecture, interior design, and urban planning, she brings a perspective that bridges creative design with technical execution.

Originally trained as an architect in Brazil, Laura developed residential and interior projects before moving to Canada, where she earned a diploma in Interior Decorating from Sheridan College and contributed to residential and mixed-use developments. Her background includes a Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Planning from FURB – Universidade de Blumenau, along with an academic exchange at the Technical University of Lisbon.

Fluent in English and Portuguese, Laura is committed to creating people-centered spaces that respond to diverse contexts and positively shape communities.

Luca Chandler

Luca Chandler is an urban planner at deep+, where he works on development applications and planning studies across Southern Ontario. A graduate of Concordia University’s Urban Studies and Planning program, he brings a strong background in site analysis, urban design, and project coordination.

At deep+, Luca focuses on interpreting planning policy and design guidelines at a time of rapid change in Ontario’s planning landscape. He is experienced in coordinating teams of municipal staff, private stakeholders, and consultants, and is skilled in producing clear, accessible reports and diagrams. With familiarity in both 2D and 3D visualization tools, he helps translate complex planning requirements into practical solutions.

Detail-oriented and collaborative, Luca enjoys the problem-solving aspect of planning and takes pride in helping projects move forward smoothly.

Michael Schulz is an architectural technologist at deep+, where he focuses on construction drawings and technical detailing. Trained as an architect in Germany, he brings a precise and methodical approach to the development of projects, ensuring that design ideas are translated into clear, buildable solutions.

With a background in architectural technology, Michael’s work bridges concept and construction, supporting the team in refining details and coordinating technical documentation.

A graduate of the University of Waterloo School of Architecture, she has gained experience in offices in Calgary, New York City, and Toronto, contributing to projects ranging from residential to mixed-use developments.

Her background combines design skills with visual storytelling, using research and creative media to develop and communicate architectural concepts to wide audiences. At deep+, Sandra is particularly interested in how narratives and images can make complex strategies more accessible, connecting design ideas with the communities they serve.

Vladyslav Tyminskyi

Vladyslav Tyminskyi is a designer and urban planner at deep+, where he manages projects that connect research, planning, and design. With more than ten years of international experience in Ukraine, Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, he works at the intersection of urban policy, spatial planning, and architectural theory.

Alongside his practice, Vladyslav is a PhD candidate in Urban Planning and Design at the University of Stuttgart and has been part of the editorial board of Planning Practice & Research (UK) since 2022. His background ranges from strategic planning studies and urban regeneration projects to teaching and publishing in architectural and urban theory.

At deep+, he focuses on integrating spatial planning approaches into Canadian projects, combining analysis, mapping, and vision-making with a collaborative and community-oriented mindset.

John Chandler

Senior Architect

John Chandler is a senior architect at deep+, with a career that spans more than four decades. After graduating from the University of Toronto in 1970, he joined B+H Architects, becoming a partner in 1981, and later served as vice president at Haldeman Miller Bregman and Hamann in Dallas.

In 1988, John co-founded ChandlerGraham Architects and Designers, a practice dedicated to unique and precedent-setting projects. His work has included major institutional, commercial, and cultural buildings, from hospitals and university facilities to adaptive reuse of historic structures and large-scale residential developments.

Notably, he has directed projects such as the Earth Sciences Centre at the University of Toronto, the Scarborough Grace Hospital, the Printing Factory Lofts, and the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, along with numerous commissions for clients including Cadillac Fairview, Brookfield, CIBC, Bank of Montreal, and Rogers Communications.

Today, John brings his depth of experience to deep+, combining design leadership with technical expertise to guide projects from concept to completion.

Julien Robillard is Director of Design for Residential Low-Rise at deep+, where he leads the design of contemporary housing projects that balance creativity, functionality, and livability. With over a decade of experience across North America, the UK, South Africa, Mexico, and Iceland, Julien brings a global perspective to residential architecture and urban design.

Originally from Montreal, Julien holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design, a technical diploma in Civil Engineering, and a Master’s in Urban Planning. His work is influenced by an uncluttered, mid-century aesthetic that blends natural materials, bold contrasts, and clean geometries to create timeless, modern spaces.

Before joining DEEP+, Julien founded The Linear Workshop, a boutique design studio focused on bespoke residential projects. His Toronto work has been featured in The Globe and MailToronto LifeThe National Post, and BlogTO. Known for his collaborative and client-focused approach, Julien thrives on dialogue, creativity, and taking thoughtful design risks that push projects beyond convention.
